Scores and feedback
Understand your writing feedback
Quick answer
Your writing report shows a score for each official criterion with the reason, every mistake highlighted in your answer with its fix, and your answer rewritten to the next level.
- Scores: each criterion the exam uses, such as Content, Form and Development for a PTE essay, with a sentence on why it scored what it did.
- Your answer, marked: red highlights are mistakes (grammar, spelling, punctuation); amber highlights are upgrades (word choice, linking, tone). Tap one to see the fix.
- What worked and key ideas: the strengths of your answer and which key ideas you covered.
- Your answer, improved: your own answer, corrected and lifted, with every change shown.
